These days, the description of the quintessential gay or gay men in general has changed to ambiguous at best. We've become so accustomed to seeing characters portrayed on television programs as the standard gay man, that we tend to forget all about the damaging stereotypes and generalizations of queers from the olden days that still linger on today. Gay dating for gay singles, twinks, and the bi-curious group has grown in both acceptance and popularity among the younger generations and is chipping away at the old prejudices. We gay people are a diverse and broad group of individuals, who come in all shapes and sizes and personalities and dress.
